Do You Need Permission? GRANTED!

When was the last time you did something for you?  Not something you have to do like go to the dentist or get your hair trimmed, but something sinfully selfish?

We spend so many of our hours doing and thinking about others and so few contemplating what we want or need.

It is almost as if we are waiting for someone to give us permission to take a breather from the hectic day-to-day that is our life and take a moment for ourselves.

We still have all of those people and responsibilities tugging at us; demanding our attention and time.

So here it is – permission for you to take a moment for yourself.  Put it on your calendar. It doesn’t have to be a long weekend or even a whole day. It can simply be a moment in which you pop a Dove dark chocolate in your mouth, put your feet up on the desk, turn the ringer off on your cell and take a few deep breaths. Whatever will be of benefit to you.

So how will you spend your moment? Gardening? Listening to music? Crafting? Running? Share with us your favorite selfish indulgence.
