Amy Edelstein has spent more than 40 years immersed in the world of meditation, studying, researching, and teaching, and in 2014 she established a nonprofit Inner Strength Education to bring the best insights she found to high school students in under-resourced schools. Since that time, her organization has trained more than 17,000 students in mindfulness.
Her newest book:
Adventure in Zanskar
A young woman’s solitary journey to reach physical and metaphysical heights
has so many unexpected developments, from an inner journey to cultural commentary on our globalizing world, from female empowerment to the challenge of finding real purpose and direction in life.
