Decades ago, as Heidi was researching about women in the Bible for her first book, she came across the medieval legend about what became of Martha of Bethany after Jesus' crucifixion. Later, while working to recover from aggressive end-stage cancer, Heidi found Martha's feminine approach to evil a helpful example for healing. Martha's legend inspired Heidi to go on a pilgrimage to a little-known site in France dedicated to this underrated saint. Now Heidi is writing a book about spiritual travel to share her valuable insights.

Background:

Heidi Bright's healing journey began in 2009 when she was diagnosed with aggressive end-stage cancer. She knows the terror and powerlessness of a difficult diagnosis. After managing two years of cancer treatment, using carefully selected integrative therapies, and healing my life, she entered radical remission in 2011.

As the author of three traditionally published nonfiction books, including the best-selling, physician-endorsed “Thriver Soup: A Feast for Living Consciously During the Cancer Journey.” Heidi offers cancer survival coaching and grief coaching, along with writing and editing services.

Currently, she is working on a book about spiritual travel.
