What if the blueprint for your purpose, gifts, and shadow patterns could be seen in your hands?
“I’m not in the prophecy business. I’m in the pattern recognition business.” — Lisa Hedley
In this episode, you’ll discover:
- How hand analysis differs from traditional palmistry
- What your fingerprints and the patterns in your hands may reveal about your purpose, gifts, and life lessons
- How Lisa uses hand analysis to identify patterns that can become starting points for deeper personal work
- Why the lines and markings in your hands can change over time
- How unused gifts and recurring shadow patterns may show up in a hand analysis
- Why Lisa sees recurring themes of people-pleasing, overgiving, depletion, and boundary challenges in many women
- How hand analysis can complement counseling and shadow work by helping identify where deeper exploration may be needed
- Why recognizing a pattern can be the first step toward changing it
Hand analysis is fascinating: a physical, visible set of patterns we can examine alongside the inner work we are already doing.
In this episode, I sit down with Lisa Hedley, Psychospiritual Counselor, Transformation Advisor, and Hand Analyst, to explore what our hands may reveal about our patterns, gifts, purpose, and shadow material.
I experienced Lisa’s work firsthand before this conversation, and I was fascinated by what surfaced. We talk about what she saw in my own hands, including patterns connected to my work, relationships, courage, and even the reminder to create more space for pleasure and experiences.
Lisa also explains an important distinction: hand analysis is not fortune-telling. She describes her work as pattern recognition, using fingerprints, hand shape, lines, markings, and other characteristics as a doorway into deeper exploration.
We also get into something I think will resonate with many women: overgiving.
Lisa shares how she frequently sees patterns she associates with nurturing, people-pleasing, boundary challenges, and depletion. We explore the difference between service and self-sacrifice and what can happen when we continually give to others while ignoring ourselves.
Most importantly, this conversation isn't about allowing your hands to determine your future.
It is about becoming more aware of the patterns you may be carrying and asking:
What am I ready to see, shift, and more fully step into?
If you’ve explored birth charts, the Enneagram, Human Design, shadow work, intuition, or other tools for self-discovery, hand analysis offers another fascinating lens through which to explore yourself.
